Dota 2 – Official Player Details Tutorial

May 7th, 2014

English Tutorial

This tutorial is intended for the professional Dota 2 players who have access to the “Official Player Information” panel.

Thanks to Fezzle for the Russian translation and Yang Chen for the Chinese translation.

What is it? Why do I need it?

The official player information panel controls how your name will be displayed in the Dota 2 tournament environment such as live tournament games, tournament replays, external scoreboards and more.

It is highly recommended that you enter factual information on your official player panel in order to help build your brand, support your team/sponsors and avoid unnecessary confusion.

Abuse of the official player panel may result in your player information being overridden and locked from manual editing.
