“Rizzrack could still hear the screams in his mind. He worked, frantically turning wrenches, twisting screws, building and carving and forging. Sleep eluded him; he only built. Months had passed since he had shut himself in his uncle’s workshop, and his deliverance was nearly complete. He rubbed his back as his eyes drifted shut, and saw a blanket of flowers floating on the placid waves of Augury Bay before exploding into a cloud of pollen that silenced lives as it seized the lungs. He woke with a choking start. For hours the rhythmic sound of a whetstone filled the shop as he sharpened a set of massive blades, his mind filled with images of strangling vines garroting neighbors, enwrapping homes. The flooding of Augury Bay had been nothing compared to the violent horrors the waters left to take root beyond the city walls. But the saw-suit would make him strong and safe he thought, allowing himself this sliver of hope before the full might of his fear crashed into his fading mind. Branches and blood. When the city fell, Rizzrack fled trees that walked, and fought, and killed. Trees had shattered the gates and swarmed into the city. Trees had crushed and thrashed and stomped the last that Augury Bay could muster in defense, and stalked the few fleeing refugees. In addled silence Rizzrack unspooled the thick chain from the suit’s arm, his hands quaking as he inspected each link and ran a trembling finger along the claw attached at its end. The saw-suit was ready.
With his hand trembling he sparked the bladed machine to life. Terror drove him, terror of what awaited him and of what he would have to face to have any hope of calming his mind. As the saw-suit shuddered to life he knew he must face this fear, and he knew he wouldn’t like it one bit.”

We already know from last week’s patch that the Greevil now has a hero icon, this week’s patch now added references to getting kills with a Greevil:

          The darker purple is currently in the game. The light purple was on the test servers for a while and got a bad reaction.

          The thing with the sliders is that you’re not meant to do it fully either way immediately – so if the slider is in the middle, one half is old (everything on the left) and one half is new (everything on the right)

          dude, in case you have not noticed dota actually has a pudge problem. The fewer item for him the better i say. Witchdoctor’s maledict is probably the best dmg dealing spell in the game, and his disable is really good for team fights. heores like pudge get picked about 100x more than guys like axe or 1000x more than meepo.

      More Meepos need to be used in Dota. Though its fair if he only used 1.5 of the time because there are 5 of him. But seriously people need to understand just how spec fucking tacular meepo actually is.

        i think most of players recognize Meepo as an insane damage dealer, the thing is that he requires a highly skilled guy to be effective during games, that’s what scares people. Nevertheless, i really enjoy watching a good meepo and keep waiting to see him in the pro scene (don’t know if he is available in cm now)

    I still miss the old red Silencer, I mean is that really hard to distinguish a hero that has glaives on his left hand/ shield on his right from a hero that has his shield on his left and sword on his left? Zzz Even the glaive and sword per se can already throw the two right off.

      In original dota, there was a mode called deathmatch where whenever you died you spawned with a new hero (and kept your items). It was a LOT of fun and I personally can’t wait for it to return. Having items like sange and yasha and butterfly on a lich was always hilarious!

        90% of design. Most heroes are awful compared to DotA 1, tibersaw is just an example. Couriers. Simple said, their art taste if awful. Just look at polycount winners. Can’t say which is worse. And I’m not only one who thinks that. Many people I know think same.

          And even more people I know think that the design overall is amazing compared to dota 1. I agree with timbersaw, but generally the art style is amazing and maybe you should stop looking at dota 1 through rose-tinted glasses.

          Your opinion is wrong, the only ones I’d say are not good so far are Zues and maybe Timbersaw but he has a more comical look to him because he’s a more comedic character so it works.

    Honestly, i dont like the new changes in drow’s face, the tattos were part of drow’s personality and now her face is plain, boring and simple , since the start in the trailer, the comic, ilustrations etc etc.. she had these tattos, you cant ignore that. if drow lost her tattos, then its time to remove the ones in other heroes too (Nature’s Prophet, Lina, Queen of Pain, Templar Assassin) , and see as their charisma is ruined.

    And yeah, before the critics stars, english isnt my native lenguage, i try my best. ;P

    If drow went to the tatoo removal process, then lets remove em from other heroes too (Nature’s Prophet, Lina, Templar assassin, etc) and watch how you basically kill part od character’s personality.

    And before the people start to flame me, yeah, i suck in english, isnt my native lenguage, but i try my best ;P
