Here’s a little tease before tonight’s tomorrow’s patch, a video of some of the unreleased heroes` abilities being used in game and some unreleased concept art as well.

Unreleased Heroes Preview

In the world of Dota 2 we’re aware of 18 different unreleased heroes that are currently being worked on. The development of a hero is a long process and takes several weeks of art, animation, effects work, hours of dialogue writing, recording and processing and then they have to be programmed into the game. This is exactly why we see so many different heroes in development. (So stop whining you pansies)

            now, the items system may help bringing back all the concept arts to reality eventhough they change alot till they are released. tbh this templar assassin is so hot.

    Lanaya and Mortred are really good in black based on concept art,… but why the ingame  3d model they use some “bright” color,….

       Because if you’ve ever played Heroes of Newerth, you can see that using the same dark colour palette for too many ingame assets makes it difficult to instantly visually parse what is being seen. It’s like how the TF2 classes all have extremely distinctive silhouettes so you can always figure out what you’re seeing right away- using specialized colours and shapes for each hero is important to create a clean, distinctive look.

    according to the guy who leaked them, the undying concept art is still not in glesh golem form and is probably changed to the current portrait of him that we see now. he said the flesh golem had tons of armor on it.

    In DotA1 lore, it says that Rubick is the son of Aghanim. I hope Valve will retain that in his lore once they introduce him in Dota2.
